As DD I'm sure this fight is easy due to hopefully having free healer. I died 5 times doing this quest as Conjorer. You are a healer as Conj! For this quests purpose. Get out of his AOE range, heal people in PT. I had one of them die, but that's all good. 350 AOE Elemental Damage (Which changes mid battle).
600 HP = 3 AOE's in a row and I'm dead...
Feel free to try to attack him if you are Suicidal... just make sure your HP is in town. I had to walk 10 minutes after first death due to Camp Tranquil being my HP.
